VISION
We believe that God is calling us to build a vibrant, ethnically and socially diverse Church, a Church where Jesus is glorified, a Church where we encounter the Holy Spirit, a Church where God's heart for the poor is clearly demonstrated and the lost and hurting receive salvation and healing from Jesus.
We summarise our vision statement as
Love God | Love People | Love The Nations
Love God
To build a church where we love God, enjoy Him together and give ourselves to Him wholeheartedly.
Love People
To build a church where we love those who are part of the church already and is seeking to love those who are not yet part of the church. This will include seeking to serve the poor, the broken and lost.
Love The Nations
To build a church who have a passion for taking the gospel to the ends of the earth and will support churches/agencies that are seeking to serve other nations.
Vision 20|20 Update
Over 4 Sundays we are looking at Various aspects of what we are called to be about, these were summarised by
Culture
Thinking about what we want the culture of Mosaic to be.
- Worshipping People
- A Spirit empowered people,
- A people of grace & truth,
- A loving community
Commitment
Thinking how the body works for the glory together but also how we all miss out when part of the body is missing.
How we fulfil our calling by being committed and plugged into church, using our gifts and all that means.
Christlikeness
Thinking about how we are called to be more like Christ and all that means.
“Christlikeness is not produced by imitation, but by inhabitation.” – Rick Warren.
The areas we believe Jesus wants us to grow in this year are:-
- Prayer (Romans 12:1-2)
- Sacrificial love (John 15:12-13)
- Obedience (John 15:10)
Community Tranformation
