MOSAIC CHURCH | A CHURCH FOR BRAUNSTONE AND ROWLEY FIELDS | LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, LOVE THE NATIONS
Even when Jesus walked the earth he divided opinion, and this continues today. It’s astonishing that even today most people will have heard of him and will believe different things about him. There are those who speak of Jesus the political revolutionary, a good man, the prophet, the faith healer and much more.

At Mosaic we believe that Jesus was the most important person who ever lived, in the Gospels (books in the Bible telling the story of Jesus life and death), it is clear that Jesus was not just an ordinary man. The writers wanted their readers to understand that this Jesus was God himself and that what you believe about him was a life changing decision.

When he was in Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked his disciples who they said he was and Jesus commended Peter’s confession of Him as “the Messiah, the Son of the Living God” (Matthew 16:16), because Jesus knew that was who he was and is. Peter had seen and heard some amazing things and now he understood who Jesus was and his life was transformed forever by this truth.

Jesus asks you and I the same question today, "Who do you say I am?"

The well known author C.S Lewis, said, “Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.”.

We love helping people explore who Jesus is and regularly run Christianity Explored courses.
